Adventures Day 2

Second day of discovering more gems of San Francisco with Jason and Maddie.

Our first stop was the Palace of Fine Arts. The building structures were so tall and beautiful!

We loved going down Pier 39 and looking at all of the seals and shops along the pier.

Boudin's is known for their sour dough bread and clam chowder. So yummy!
It is fun to watch them make different things out of the bread such as teddy bears and alligators.

This was the coolest arcade I have ever been to! They have all of these antique machines and mechanical musical instruments. So different from the arcades today.

This is the best and cheapest souvenir. It not only read my palm but also gave me a card of what my future holds for just 50 cents! That's a deal!

For some reason these machines were all throughout the arcade. Men trying to get a cheap peep show. vvv
I love going to Fisherman's Wharf because there is so much to do and it is all in walking distance. You can spend a whole day there and still not have been able to do everything.

Our last stop was Ghirardelli ice cream in Ghirardelli Square.
Fun fact for ya, Ghirardelli chocolate is older than the Golden Gate Bridge,
The Statue of Liberty and Coca-Cola.

Photo booth pictures are my favorite!
The first one we did not know when it was going to take it haha

Off to more adventures...

New Year, New Adventures Day 1

Twin Peaks has the most beautiful view of San Francisco.
It was such a nice clear day to make it even better!

One of San Francisco's hidden gems, the Seward Cement Slides. It is in this random                                                  neighborhood in Castro down the road from Twin Peaks.

We had to laugh at the sign that says, " No adults unless accompanied by children." Riding down the slides on cardboard is a must!

Accidentally drove through Castro and ended up seeing a naked guy with just a Santa hat on.
I can't say how often we will be back there.

Had to find the Full House house! Funny how they portrayed the house to look so big when it is actually so skinny and small.

Painted Ladies

Last stop to end our day was the Golden Gate Bridge. I was so happy it was such a clear day and of course it was a windy day! Can't have both.

I love it when we have visitors because it is another excuse to go into the city! I had so much fun with my brother Jason and his sweet wife Maddie exploring San Francisco.

three years down...many more to come...

Happy Anniversary Babe

Let's just say this year has been a roller coaster of events! I hope this next year is way more calm for us because I could sure use it. To sum it all up we moved to Hayward the beginning of this year to start new jobs. We quickly learned that our apartment was not in the best location. Within two and half months of staying there our apartment got broken into, our car got hit by a stolen car, our mailboxes were constantly being broken into and we consistently saw drug deals. To top it off our manager mentioned they recently caught a fugitive who was wanted for murder, had been hiding out a few doors down from us. How many signs does Heavenly Father need to give you to move?!

We quickly made our second move to the hills of Hayward where it was QUIET and peaceful. We had deer and turkey all around us. We were loving it and were happy to be in a better situation. That did not last long as Patrick got laid off from his job.

After three long months of searching he was able to get a job in San Mateo where he could not be happier. We decided to move for the THIRD time closer to his work so I quit my job and started a new one where I apartment manage in the Bay Area.  We finally feel like we are able to breathe and are grateful for these experiences as they have drawn us closer together than ever before. I just wish to have no repeats!
